Job Description:

Position Overview: The PET Preform Mould Designer is responsible for designing and developing moulds for PET preform production. This role involves creating detailed designs, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring moulds meet quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mold Design: 


- Develop and create innovative mould designs for PET preforms using CAD software. 


- Ensure designs meet production requirements and specifications.

2. Collaboration: 


- Work closely with production engineers and technicians to understand production processes and requirements. 


- Collaborate with R&D teams to incorporate new technologies and materials into designs.

3. Prototyping and Testing: 


- Create prototypes and perform tests to evaluate mould performance and functionality. 


- Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to designs.

4. Quality Assurance: 


- Ensure that mould designs comply with industry standards and quality control measures. 


- Participate in the development of testing protocols for mould durability and efficiency.

5. Documentation: 


- Prepare detailed documentation for mould designs, including specifications and assembly instructions. 


- Maintain records of design changes and updates.

6. Project Management: 


- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets. 


- Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders effectively.

7. Continuous Improvement: 


- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to mould design. 


- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance mould efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications: 

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. 

- CIPET Qualification. 


- Proven experience in mould design, specifically for PET preforms.

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).

Skills: 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in design.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Conditions: 

- Full-time position, typically in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

- May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
