ADAMA - Facility Manager - Technical Plant (8-13 yrs)

ADAMA INDIA is looking out for a Facility Manager who assures the effective functioning of a facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best Engineering/Business practices to manage resources, services, and processes to meet the needs of the company. The Facility Manager ensures compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.

Reporting Line: Plant Head

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Vendor Management

- Manage contractor/vendor relationships.

- Manage and monitor the activities of contract suppliers.

- Focus on Cost Effectiveness - obtain competitive quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers to compare costs for goods and services.

- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.

- Ensure delivery schedules such that their quantity and quality criteria are met.

- Ensure work completion of the contractors and vendors and evaluate the end results such that they meet the company standards.

- Verify payment and invoicing matches with the contract pricing and monitor the payments.

Facility Management

- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life cycle requirements.

- Conduct and document regular facility inspections.

- Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

- Monitor and implement energy efficiency projects.

- Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, and purchases.

- Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations.

- Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.

- Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels and ensure efficient work allocation.

- Performance management, to develop and train staff.

- Manage the facility space for maximum efficiency.

- Assuring the security of the facility

- Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.

- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants.

- Prepare and track facility budget.

- Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and parking.

Desired Profile would have :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrument/Mechanical & experience of Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management

- 10 + years of Experience in Managing site with reputed Organizations, Knowledge of Mainly HVAC/Electrical System 11 KV network/Gas Piping and Knowledge of Instruments and Equipment's of R&D Like Fume hood/Autoclave

- Expertise in MS Office 365

- Good Presentation skills

- Expertise in Auto CAD

Functional Knowledge and expertise on the following is desired:

- Knowledge of HVAC System AHU/Chillers/Cooling Tower & Other Utility

- Good hand in Managing and maintenance of R&D Equipment's and Instruments

- Building Monitoring System

- Fire Hydrant and Fire alarm system

- ETP Plant

- Furniture & Doors Repair

- HT/LT Panels Preventive and Fault finding
