To lead the Design Innovation Process for the Organisation towards generating greater customer value

Customer Centric design Innovation

- To Drive the development of visionary creative solutions, leveraging a wide range of conceptual, strategic, and technological trends.

- To ensure that RUPL clientele and community voices are represented in the design of new ideas

- To Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in driving design, ideation and rapid creativity.

- To design customer centric product and EcoSystem solutions in collaboration with Sales & Marketing team.

Market Research

- To study Domestic and International Competitor products and offering for ideas and insights

- To conduct organised Customer research on a regular basis to understand needs better

- To study new construction material for cost benefit and better value

- To bring new thought and ideas in the Green Design space

Innovation in Projects

- To engage with every aspect of the Platform projects to enhance the product experience

- To institutionalise a process of ideation and creative solutioning across all discipline in Design namely: Architecture, Interior, Landscape, MEP etc

- To Interact with EPC, Marketing & Sales Team to develop solutions

- To Identify and cultivate relationships with strategic partners who can provide design expertise Technology:

- To work closely with the Digital & IT Team to integrate technology solutions into the customer experience of the product and the ecosystem design

Educational Qualification: B. Arch / M. Arch

Work Experience: Minimum 10 + years of professional experience

Job Overview:

The Design Innovation Lead will drive conception, ideation and design for development of projects. This role will be critical in driving high-impact design thinking for RUPL, and will have the opportunity to work alongside Lead Designers and Consultants.

Special Requirements:

1. Relevant experience across diverse design disciplines & cross cultural understanding with exposure to Innovative Technology

2. Experience in design techniques in a wide range design projects / develop innovative futuristic design

3. Confidence in rapid prototyping new services and products and iterating them in response to successive rounds of feedback

4. Deep understanding of design discipline

5. Strong synthesis skills and confidence distilling complex data into actionable insights

6. Out of the box thinker

7. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with colleagues on all levels in a distributed, multicultural professional environment

8. Ability to train others to use design techniques

Preferred Requirements:

1. An online portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and creative problem solving

2. Experience/familiarity with Commercial / Residential Real Estate Projects
