Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated AGM/DGM - Civil to join our client's team to construct a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) at Pakri Barwaddih, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in civil engineering and project management within the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the planning, design, and construction of the Coal Handling Plant (CHP) project.

2. Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

3. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.

4. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.

5. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.

6. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction phase.

7. Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.

8. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.

3. Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the coal handling or similar industrial sector.

4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.

5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience working on projects in the mining or coal industry.

2. Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and construction practices in Jharkhand.

3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
