AGM/DGM Operations - Pharmaceutical Industry (20-25 yrs)

We are looking for AGM/DGM Operations (2 positions) for a MNC who are into manufacturing of high quality tooling's and presses in India and a leader tooling and tableting solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

Role and Responsibilities :

This role will involve leading the manufacturing activities of Table Press division. The person will be responsible for Complete Operations including Production, Purchase, Quality, Costing and machine dispatch.

Key Profile :

1. Responsibility for Technical Operation, Production, planning, vendor development with follow up, Costing, projects management, quality, installation and expansion of operations.

2. Responsible for achievement of Production planning and accountable to ensure optimal utilization of all resources including manpower, machinery and raw materials.

3. Identifying potential bottlenecks and deviations, implementation corrective action to ensure that production targets are met within stipulated time and budget constraints.

4. Follow up with various departments for control to ensure smooth operation at the production lines.

5. Analyzing daily reports to plan further production keeping keen eye on deadlines as well as ensure order delivery as per agreed plan with Keen eye on Quality.

6. Implementation of inventory control measures to reduce obsolete stock. Facilitating value engineering initiatives at the suppliers end to reduce cost of rejection of suppliers and in process production material.

7. Performing analysis, root cause analysis, best practices for productivity improvement in production, repetitive problems (rework -rejection), Cost reduction and process updating.

8. Preparing strong and reliable MIS reports to Streamline material management, Cost saving, Vendor quality assurance operations for facilitating the decision-making process in liaison with Management.

9. Handling projects planning, execution, erection and commissioning, monitored site work, ensure that work is done in accordance with project manuals and drafted drawing.

10. Planning and procuring raw materials that are required for production, monitoring the production output on daily, weekly and monthly basis, Ensure goods were issue against production order and monthly production analyses conducted against target or planning.

11. Analyzing the project plan in detail, estimating the cost, Conducting cost benefit analysis to technical and commercial accountability of getting the work executed.

12. Efficiently identifying and developing cost effective vendor/supplier base for cost effective procurement of material, spares and consumables. Maintain follow up with Suppliers to ensure proper delivery.

13. Taking care of all activities related to manufacturing expansion Project like Machine Selection, Process Selection, Layout Decision, Material and Process flow, System Implementation, Manpower Recruitment.
