AGM/DGM - Procurement - Conglomerate (20-22 yrs)
Area of responsibilities :
- To ensure compliant techno commercial offers are provided to tender department on timely basis.
- To negotiate and obtain competitive offers and explore the possibility of pre-bid agreements with suppliers on case to case basis thus to improve chances of winning contracts from prospective clients
- To negotiate and obtain competitive offer at order stage and improve the margin with respect to AOP rate / tender estimate.
- Negotiation and finalization of order in consultation with BUH.
- Ensuring timely release of orders for all raw material / projects
- To ensure fortnightly raw material availability on completed tower basis.
- To ensure timely BOI / BN supplies to meet the projects requirements and AOP target.
- Interaction with Design / Co-ordination / Finance / Taxation / Vendor for resolving major issues related to the smooth project execution.
- To review projects status for BOI, Bolt-nut and Raw Material periodically.
- To review the status of LCs / BGs / Type Tests / Vendor approval
- To develop new vendors to get competitive price advantage and also to expand vendor base for all categories.
- To review the performance of vendors through Evaluation system and feedback to vendors and corrective actions wherever required.
Relationship Management :
- Periodic meetings and visits to be carried out at appropriate levels.
- To facilitate to resolve issues related to Vendors such as payment, approvals and Deliveries
- Ensure timely contracts for inbound logistics requirement.
- To review the performance of transporters through Evaluation system and feedback to them.
- Ensure monthly disposal of scrap generated at all plants.
- Maximise revenue using combination of on-line & off-line negotiation tools
- Publishing of MIS.
- To streamline SAP system and to utilise SAP to maximum extent.
- Development and Implementation for SOP for my area of operation.
- Training and development plan for self and team
- To ensure compliance of various procurement processes and handling ISO / Internal / customer's / Statutory / Functional auditors

Education :
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical /Mechanical/Civil from repute college or university
Experience :
- Minimum 20 to Maximum 22 yrs. exp. in EPC Company
