Job Description :

1. Execute Outsourcing strategy for building a reliable as well as competitive supplier base and define pricing strategies in line with overall business strategy while procuring die casting & machining components for all plants in the Casting Business group. ( Pune, Aurangabad, Pantnagar, Manesar )

2. Closely coordinate with the Cluster business heads, Plant heads at all locations for timely implementation of Outsourcing projects as per customer requirements.

3. Setup adequate capacities at suppliers as per specified timelines keeping in mind company's long term strategy & business plan.

4. Evaluate supplier capability for new / existing product in terms of financial strength, overall business, existing clientele, organization & infrastructure, quality systems, technology and cultural fitment

5. Manage contract negotiation, creation, execution and analysis to maximize operational performance while minimizing / eliminating financial and other risks.

6. Devise and update a mechanism of zero based costing (considering the prime and conversion cost) for all Outsourced components including new developments.

7. Drive the entire Outsourcing team to ensure high level of performance & execution of Outsourcing projects.

Unique soft skill / behavioral requirement :

1. Knowledge of Die casting & Machining vendor base in Pune, Aurangabad & North region.

2. The ability to anticipate, act & align activities towards the change initiatives, drive the change management, guide & enable others to adapt to the change initiative to meet the desired outcome.

3. Conceptual understanding of Zero based costing method, its usage and applicability to make informed decisions as per company framework

4. Knowledge of various types of cess / taxes (Excise, Sales tax, VAT, GST etc.) involved while receiving goods from respective vendors and related statutory compliance with complete understanding of applicability to work out correct landed cost

3. Techno commercial background.

4. Preferably from Die casting industry or any other Tier II multinational companies.

5. Previous Experience in Corporate Sourcing role/ Strategic sourcing role - should not be from Supply Chain/PPC background.
