POSITION : Assistant General Manager (Electrical & Control and Instrumentation)

Academic Qualification : BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engg./ EEE/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from Reputed college & University

Year of Experience : 12-15 years in an organization of repute.(preferable)

Other Requirements :

- Candidate must have availed full dose of Covid-19 Vaccination.

- Must Have a valid Passport

- Work experience in overseas (preferable)

- Speaking/reading French would be preferred.

Field of Experience :

- Must have experience on equipment's like equipment's in mineral processing plants of ores like copper, cobalt, gold, iron ore & coal.

- Must have experience in stacker, reclaimer, Sizer/ crusher & belt conveyors in Coal handling plant and RMHS.

- Must have experience in design and detailed engineering of Mineral processing plants, CHP, Iron ore crushing & screening plant of medium to large size.

- Must have experience in reviewing of vendor drawings like transformer, HT & LT switchgear, motors, cables, Battery & battery charger, UPS, capacitor bank, Earthing & lightning protection system, illumination layout, cabling, VFDs, bus duct etc..

- Must be thorough in HT & Lt switchgear protection and scheme review.

- Should have experience for preparation of SLD.

- Should have experience in sizing of electrical equipment like transformer, DC system, UPS, cable, cable tray, capacitor bank, bus duct etc.

- Should have knowledge for preparation of tender specification for procurement of various electrical equipment.

- Knowledge on transmission line & switchyard design will be added advantage.

- Knowledge on relay setting and coordination will be added advantage.

- Operation and Maintenance of control and instrumentation system.

- Experience in design and detailed engineering of C&I system for plants like CHP, Iron ore crushing & washing plant, beneficiation plants, other material handling system is added advantage

- Experience in reviewing of vendor drawings like P&ID, system architecture, DCS, PLC, SCADA, UPS, PA system, Telephone system, CCTV system, various measuring instruments, safety switches, Instrumentation cables, control desk, control valves etc. is an added advantage.

Skills :

- Extensive touring and visiting running and closed plants for new business.

- Good knowledge on IS and International standards (e.g. API, ISA,IEC,ISO etc

- Client handling and leading the team from the front.

- Inter disciplinary coordination for engineering.

- Coordination with construction team, supplier, client and resolving site issues.

- Knowledge on ACAD and MS office.

- Good communication skill (English & Hindi).

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Site visit and technical and commercial evaluation of running, closed mineral processing plants and its equipment in India and overseas.

- Equipment related to running and closed coal handling plant and RMHS in India and overseas.

- Preparation & submission of project report and participate in management review

- Involvement of engineering of various project taken up by the Company.

- Review and approval of drawings/documents, layouts prepared by EPC vendor and Engineering consultant for various CHP, Iron ore central processing units and mineral processing plants projects.

- HT & Lt switchgear protection and scheme review.

- Preparation of SLD, Preparation of Earthing & lightning protection system layout, illumination layout, cabling & cable tray layout etc.

- Design of Earthing & lightning protection system, Design of illumination system for plant, Design cabling layout etc.

- Sizing of electrical equipment like transformer, DC system, UPS, cable, cable tray, capacitor bank, bus duct etc..

- Preparation of tender specification for procurement of various electrical equipment.

- Enquiry floating, Techno-commercial offer review and coordinate with procurement department for procurement of equipment.

- Study of various mining Government/Private tenders and prepare CAPEX estimations for the CHP/ Central processing Units/Beneficiation plants.

- Coordinate with internal and external customers during various stages of project starting from proposal making, project award, engineering, procurement, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and closeout stages.

- Preparation and Review of Datasheets, Specifications, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluation, and Review of Vendor Documents of field Instrument's like Control Valves, ON OFF valves, Safety relief valves, Various Transmitters, P&ID, system architecture, DCS, PLC, SCADA, UPS, PA system, CCTV system, measuring instruments, safety switches, Instrumentation cables, control desk etc.

- Review of Engineering Deliverables as part of the Project includes Instrument Index, IO list, JB Schedule, Cable schedule, JB Drawings, Process Hookups, Pneumatic Hookups, Loop Diagrams, Instrument Location Layouts, Instrument Cable Routing Layouts.

- Preparation of tender specification for procurement of various C&I equipment. Enquiry floating, Techno-commercial offer review and coordinate with procurement department for procurement of equipment.

- Study of various mining Government/Private tenders and prepare CAPEX estimations for the CHP/ Central processing Units/Beneficiation plants.

- Coordinate with internal and external customers during various stages of project starting from proposal making, project award, engineering, procurement, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and closeout stages.

- Hands on experience in attending FATs/SATs will have added advantage.

- Must be part of the complete life cycle of the Instrumentation discipline for Green field or brown field project from start to end.
