AGM - Product Excellence (8-15 yrs)
PRODUCT EXCELLENCE - AGM
The incumbent will work with the Product development team
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive PLM/PDM adoption
- Drives alignment on strategy, guidelines and procedures related to Product Excellence for the company.
- Work with it to enhance PLM/PDM functionalities
- Administration of Rights Management for PLM and PDM
- New product development process mapping, engineering & excellence to ensure right product, right first time and on time
- Project Management - Leads project management with teams of professionals
- Fixing process gaps
- Ensures proper communication and training.
- Defines and monitors appropriate KPIs and improvement targets together with management and functions.
- Finetune approval matrix/hierarchy for speed, empowerment with controls to ensure RFT
- Conduct kaizen programs
- Digital business partner & automation
Key Requirement :
- Anyone involved in product development process in apparel industry (not required from innerwear background)
- Has worked on PLM systems or PDM systems (product development systems)
- Process oriented person
- Requires granularity and detail orientation
- Should be able to detail the requirements to the IT department.
- Merchandising background is ideal - has exposure or has worked alongside design, materials, technical etc.
- Worked with international buyers or brands
- Export background is preferred (not domestic brands)
- Systematic use of know-how to solve complex problems is a must
- Demonstrable high professional judgment and competence
- Individual in role must be capable of changing existing ways and approaches where necessary and act as an innovative idea generator for new and practical solutions
- Ability of influencing peers and others to achieve impact on results in larger organization
- Proactively shares knowledge in a systematic way in larger organization to grow know-how base and supports a learning organization.
Person Profile :
- Experience : 8 - 10 Years
- Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills : Expert in PLM & MS Office
- Behavioral Competencies : Attention to detail, time management, good oral and written communication, target orientation, responsiveness, planning & organizing, effective communicator, interpersonal effectiveness, team work & self-motivation
