Job Description :

We are hiring for supply chain Management Expertise professionals for our Leading Pharmaceutical Client.

Designation: Assistant General Manager

Reporting to: GM - SCM (Direct) & Head - Finance ( in Dotted lines)

Work Location: Bangalore

JOB PURPOSE(Briefly describe the objectives of the job):

Responsible for achievement of business objectives by ensuring timely procurement of requisite input items i.e. raw materials, capital goods, live animals etc; satisfying internal customers and satisfying external stakeholders i.e. regulatory authorities and suppliers. Managing Logistics, Inventory management and Commercial Admin

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the entire functions of Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, License, Excise, Customs, SEZ, EOU and regulatory compliance.

- Establishing a good and healthy relationship internal departments and external agencies

- To ensure timely procurement of required materials from domestic and international markets.

- To develop market intelligence through comprehensive database of alternative options and comparativeprices for negotiating price and terms of purchase.

- To ensure better negotiation with vendors to bring down the cost and timeline

- Support the system on ordering which reduce the time and number of ordering per day.

- Responsible for handling all the inbound and outbound consignments.

- Maintain all SOPs and documentation of the SCM department.

- To track and manage inventory.

- To support QA(Quality Assurance) in vendor audits and vendor qualification

- To develop Standard Operating Procedures for Material Movement /Storage in compliance with quality norms, standards and practices.

- To train the personnel in Purchase, Logistics, Inventory and Commercial Admin Department

- Maintain document data control (generation, archival, obsolete, destruction) throughout the plant

- Responsible for Budgeting and Costing for SCM

- Responsible to handle inbound/outbound compliance with procedures related statutory and regulatory bodies.

- Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals & vendor agreement for legal correction, price and acceptability for materials to specifications

- To report non conformities and implement corrective preventive actions in specific areas of operation.

- Maintain the warehouse safety especially with respect to chemical compatibility and handling of hazardous chemicals and solvents

- Well conversant in handling Civil, Projects,Engineering equipment, spares and consumables etc.

TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

- Strong knowledge of CRAMS business, markets and industries including well developed technical and background knowledge of Facilities, Distribution Operations & Supply Chain sectors.

- Well conversant in topics such as MRO, raw materials, packing etc.

- Background in production planning and knowledge of companys regulations e.g. OSHA, cGMP, EPA, DEA etc.

- Well conversant and strong understanding of suppliers/vendors market.

- Computer literate (MS Office).

- Knowledge of ERP and SAP software.

- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).

- Strong negotiation skills.

2) Customs and Excise procedures and policies.

3) Knowledge of International Air Traffic Association-Dangerous Goods regulations is must.

4) Knowledge of International Air Traffic Association-Dangerous Goods regulations is must.

5) Strong analytical and problem solving ability.

6) Good knowledge about Rules & Regulations of EOU and SEZ

7) Well conversant in topics such Engineering equipment, spares and consumables etc.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Maintain current knowledge of significant foreign and domestic business, sources of supply, pricing structures, market condition, new purchasing techniques and similar matters related to procurement and packing.

- Effective communication with internal units to develop the specifications for the suitable requirements.

- Handling special (USFDA) audits and other internal & external audits.

- Align and prepare all documentation as per the Audit requirements
