AgroStar - Manager - Logistics (4-8 yrs)
- Liaising with Customers, post office, suppliers and transport companies.
- Managing logistics, negotiating with transporters for cost effective transport solution & clearances.
- Monitoring the fleet of vehicles & transporters ensuring on time delivery & transit norms
- Negotiate transportation rates or services
- Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services.
- Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
- Min 4-7 years of experience of working in Logistics, Supply chain, Transportation domain
- Experience with any Logistics company or startup will be an advantage
- Dynamic, aggressive, result oriented and self starter with an ability to work independently
- Ability to learn systems quickly with little or no guidance
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
