AM/DM - Engine Design Engineering (2-7 yrs)
Job Responsibility : Vehicle Fuel Economy Development Engineer
- Engine Design/Testing, Performance Evaluation
- Fuel economy development, road load estimation, evaluation of CO2 variations
- Following up model development timelines and resolving all open items
- Emission regulations/homologation hands on exposure
- Able to evaluate new technologies in Engine, Transmission & Chassis systems for FE improvement
- Experience of using Mass Emissions, Chassis Dyno & Engine Calibration instruments by self
- Experience of FE measurement on mass production vehicles (COP testing)
- Experience of CO2 variation analysis, problem investigation & countermeasure identification
- Able to estimate Road Load proficiently
- Hands on experience of tools used for FE simulation
- Knowledge on engine sub systems & experience of engine Hardware Selection
- Knowledge of Coast Down testing & analysis
- Knowledge of regulations related to emissions (BS4, BS6, CAF- norms)
- Long term commitment with MSIL
- Team player.
- Eagerness for learning & confident attitude.
- Flexible approach
- Openness towards traveling & overseas trainings
Basic Knowledge (All Are Essential In The Given List) :
- Good understanding of IC Engine Fundamentals.
- Good understanding of Engine HW Fundamentals (Development, testing, measurement, Analysis etc).
- Good understanding of Engine Management System.
