AM/DM - Machining Process (6-11 yrs)

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for manufacturing feasibility of drawings by studying tolerance, surface finish etc.
- Prepare APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control plans documents, process plans, plant layout considering Effective material handling.
- Identifying gauging requirements and feasibility and finalize the requirements with quality team
- Establish process as per plan, support production team for resolving shop floor issues
- Support / Lead new product development with respect to machining aspect of the part
- Prepare Cost Estimation Work(CEW) for new RFQs / estimate input data required for preparation of CEW
- Maintain department 5S requirements.
- Lead development of process flows, process sheets, FMEAs, tool lists and control plans.
- Participate in Customer Focus Meetings.
- Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
Interface with suppliers of raw materials, fixtures and tools to establish engineering requirements for start of production.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Having experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CNC machine setting / Programming, CNC machines, process capability, statistical process control tools, auto component manufacturing industry
- Experience of cycle time estimation for various manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of Process planning of auto parts such as Gears/ Shafts/ aluminum housing etc. along with, cutting tools/ fixture etc.
- With preferably knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD / Solid works / SPC
