We have an opening with our leading Client Company (Industrial Minerals & Mining) looking out for an AM / DM - Procurement & Stores @ Srikakulam (AP) Location

Description:

Position Name : Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager Procurement & Stores.

Location : Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh).

Gender : Male

Educational Qualification : Graduate / Post Graduate / (Supply Chain or Materials Management)

Experience : 7-10 years experience in Procurement & Stores .

Job Profile :

Sourcing Procurement :

- Managing sourcing through identification of cost effective vendors/ suppliers for procurement .

- Planning and managing the overall procurement of material and production requirements including receipt accounting & maintaining desired stock levels; establishing inventory level goals for assigned materials.

- Handling purchase team and ensuring procurement of all S & S Items as per SOP.

Vendor Management:

- Evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and targets.

- Handling day to day management of facility, viz. monitoring operations of systems, identifying issues, following up with vendors, maintaining record of equipment performance, log books.

- Identifying and developing potential vendors/ suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases of materials; achieving reduction in prices, vendor managed inventory and timely delivery.

- Executing the purchase order against purchase requisition and following up of items with vendors for timely delivery of items of each purchase.

Warehouse/ Stores Management:

- Planning, directing and maintaining an efficient warehouse operation of SMD & MD with large number of SKU's.

- Assigning and evaluating the work performance of personnel assigned to the warehouse.

- Monitoring inbound and outbound warehousing activities of Raw materials and finished products to maintain on time delivery schedule.

- Arranging infrastructure across Warehouses to ensure smooth flow of operations with implementation of Good Warehouse Practices Area Norms.

Liaison/ Coordination:

- Ensuring delivery of Items within specified delivery period. Floating tenders and receiving BIDS for Procurement of CAPEX items as per SOP.

- Conducting budgeting and planning activity with Department Heads at the start of every financial year.

- Handling electrical, legal, lab, personnel, HRD and Major Parts of mechanical departments purchase requisition. Coordinating with the user department to maintain the critical spares and scrutinizing purchase requisition and approval of enquiry floated.

- Maintaining dispatch records to avoid the price variation and to maintain the goodwill of the company.

- Handling vendors queries related materials approval and payment and scrutinizing rejected materials and bills.

- Preparing department wise monthly and quarterly consumption reports/ MIS for QMS and review meetings.

Logistics :

- Managing logistics operations and with Present Transporters / appointing new Transporters, C&F agents, entering rate contracts and finalizing contracts for transportation of raw-materials
