The objective of this position is to design the special purpose machine (SPM) design.
- Design of precision custom automated equipment/ SPM.
- Design of fabricated & machined components and assemblies to meet the specific needs and design intent specifications.
- Design of fabricated & machined components for manufacture.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for equipment in the concept stage of development.
- Create bills of material (BOM) for system release.
- Support the manufacture of components both in-house and via sub-contractors.
