Analyst - Process Improvement - Six Sigma - Logistics (2-6 yrs)

Designation : Analyst
Report to : Project Manager
- Assist in the development, implementation and ongoing refinement of companies global program, within India, and in accordance with guidelines from companies regional Office in Asia Pacific, which will deliver the following objectives :
- Become first choice for customers worldwide in the fast growing global logistics industry
- Mobilize and enable India employees to improve quality and productivity towards world class performance
- Plan, coordinate, direct, and control India deployment of companies Programs (DMAIC Initiatives, Performance Dialog, 5S, Lean and GEMBA, NPA etc.)
This will require the Analyst to :
- Liaise and closely co-operate with other functions within India
- Help manage companies communications program within India, including regular status reports, presentations and companies specific communications on results achieved.
- Co-ordinate trainings with the FC PMO and mobilize teams
- Facilitate development of robust, pragmatic project milestone plans for all initiatives
- Review work products and deliverables
- Support facilitated sessions and meetings.
- Help manage companies reward and recognition program within India
- Develop, implement and manage India deployment of company
- Assist in managing and tracking of India companies initiatives
- Participate in and contribute to companies initiatives, and other projects as required.
- Provide periodic progress reports on project status, and respective outcome/progress (visibility).
- Act as the companies ambassador.
- Perform ad hoc analysis.
- Ensure implementation of companies and quality standards, and adapt overall policies and procedures where necessary.
- Promote a culture of change and continuous improvement to achieve long-term success.
- Ensure that customer touch points and business processes to improve customer satisfaction, productivity are renewed regularly and add value to companies service offerings.
- Propose, design, direct, manage and control companies initiatives,
- Develop project briefs, lead projects, review and monitor project deliverables and timelines, in accordance with
- Set up regional / global knowledge creation, sharing and collaboration process and perform research.
- Prepare regular status reports, presentations and project specific communications
- Management reporting of project budget
- Manage and support workshops
Skills :
- Strategic, analytical, and conceptual development skills
- Excellent organization, written & oral communication, facilitation & team coordination/leadership skills
- People management, cultural sensitivity, demonstrated leadership, communication and influencing skills.
- Able to handle ambiguity, - Think on your feet-, and capable of working independently with sometimes limited direction
- Ability to work under pressure and with significant autonomy
- Strong interpersonal skills / executive presence and maturity dealing with senior executives and staff
- Experience in / knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
- Resourceful : Initiative to navigate their way and with the drive to get things done
- Sense of urgency and willing to roll up the sleeves - do it!
Experience :
- 2-4 years work experience, with at least 2 years within a large MNC
- Track record for successful delivery of projects driven globally
- Track record within a quality circle environment
- Minimum Education Qualification is Graduate and MBA is preferred.
- Work experience of 4 years for a graduate and 2 years for MBA.
- Candidate who has worked in Continuous Improvement, LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S,Project Management.
- Should have experience in MIS, documentation, report generation.
Qualification :
- MBA or an equivalent degree
- Lean Six sigma certification preferred
