SUMMARY :

Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority is established for the purpose of Planning, Co-ordination, Execution, Supervision, Financing, Funding and for Promoting and securing the Planned Development of the Capital Region and Capital City Area for the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Tasks :

- Electrical & Power engineers experienced in design, develop and maintain power, electrical control systems and components to their respective required specifications. Design ensuring the primary requisites.

- Design Electrical engineers are involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design, through to implementation, testing and handover. They may be involved in maintenance programmes.

- As well as having technical knowledge, electrical engineers need to be able to project manage and multitask. They also need to have commercial awareness. Additional attributes, such as team leadership or management skills, are required as careers progress.

Key Responsibilities :

- Capital city Power distribution and Transmission networks

- Responsible for preparing electrical designs for large-scale buildings/ township projects

- Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, standards, government regulations and customer contract requirements

- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.

- Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

- Testing and ensuring product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.

- Prepares product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.

- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.

- Maintains product and the organization reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

- Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Work Experience :

- The candidate should be 10-15 yrs and have tendered 5 years intensifies working experience in any reputed Electrical firm duly associated with the scope of work pertaining to Design & Execution Electrical systems, calculations, all Electrical ancillary items, determination and placement & Electrical quakes, DCB's etc.,

- The selected candidate should work under Addl. Director infra unit for designing all Electrical loads carrier, appliances, cables, Transformers, busbars, U.G.Cables, different types of Electrical fixtures & fittings etc., and required for erecting of electrical systems from substantial to user groups.

- The candidate should have well experience and acquaintance with all latest and time to time developments of technology, various appliances and its uses and limitations in all connected fields to ensure best working designs and to meet the requirements at economical standards.

Education :

- B.E,B. Tech in Electrical Engineering / M.E, M. Tech Electrical engineering/Power Electronics

- First preference will be given to master's degree holders in case of non-availability bachelor's degree holders with vast relevant experience will be considered

Competencies required :

Knowledge :

- Design of high voltage electrical substations including physical substation, protection and control design.

- Experience and knowledge in equipment Automation and PLCs, Six sigma

- Exposure to Reliability Maintenance Engineering

- Deep understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and methods.

- Experience using programmable logic controllers and circuit board layouts

- Understanding and application of Earned Value Management (EVM)

- Ability to prepare relay setting for numerical relays and to perform ASPEN.

- Drafting, Laying Out, and Specifying Technical Devices, Parts, and Equipment

- Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.

Skills and Abilities :

- Electrical Power distribution net works

- Transmission, Substations and Power Utility & Experience of using State of the Art Software for analysis on Power Distribution Networks
