Job Description :

We are looking for Application engineer who develop customized software programs for clients. They collaborate with software development teams on software projects, design complex software programs and applications, and incorporate client feedback into software product development. Role:

- As Application engineer you work mainly with the planning, presenting and follow up prospect presentations during acquisition phase.

- You analyze and immerse yourself in the prospects/customers issues to define optimal solutions based on our portfolio for the client.

- You act as project manager when implementing our solutions together with our professional service department.

- You mainly interact with sales engineers and product specialists.

- You will keep yourself updated on new features in the product and transform functions to the message of customer value.

- As a product specialist, you will also work in other parts of the business, such as training or support to our clients and partners.

Responsibilities :

- Pre-sales and post-sales activities

- Prospect and customer development, coaching, analysis

- Project management

- Handle specification, calculations, risk assessments

- Onsite customer consultation

- Sales support

- Presentations at trade shows

- Product Trainings for Customers.

- Create benchmark projects.

- Studying customer needs, analyze and create specifications.

Required:

- B.Tech in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation from a reputed institution with 6 to 10 years of working experience with an international company in design engineering / technical pre sales or product specialist, ideally with a strong background in the engineering or software industry.

- In depth Electrical domain knowledge, additional knowledge in design and engineering of process plants/ Instrumentation.

- Knowledge and design experience using E-CAD/CAE/E-CAE software such as EPLAN Electric P8 or E3 or Promis-E software.

- Experience in 3D CAD software packages is desirable.

- Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills and proactive attitude.

- Strong business acumen with ability to influence at the various levels of the organization.

- Strong teamworker with interfaces to regional sales and customer care departments.

- Knowledge of developing customized programs using VB, .NET,C#, and CAD APIs is desirable.

- Proficient oral and written in English and local languages.
