Application Engineer - Low Voltage Drives - VFD (5-10 yrs)
Job Description
We are looking for Application Engineer having minimum of 5-8 years technical experience in working with variable frequency drives ( low voltage) for a MNC Power and Automation Company in Bangalore.
Technical product ownership on software development,application development and support for the customer case in Low Voltage Drives in India.
Primary Tasks
-Product technical responsible in India
- Internal / customer support (back end)
- Application support for sales
- Continuous product development in collaboration with global R&D units
- Application development
- Development of application
- Programming in codesys, FCB, C, Ladder
- Understanding the customer need and implementing the same.
- Trails at factory and site for the application proof.
- Product technical training (internal)
Requirements
Experience
- Thorough understanding of variable frequency drive working principles
Background of programming
Knowledge of Functional program, Ladder logic, structure text.
Working or development of different application
Embedded programming knowledge is an advantage
General
University degree: Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Power Electronics
Technical and practical approach
Good English, spoken and written
Team player in multi-cultural team
Proactive, self-reliant way of working
Good self-expression skills
Customer and result oriented working style
