Architectural/Interior Designer (0-3 yrs)
Job brief :
- We are looking for a right-brained Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction. You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion.
Job Responsibilities :
- Communicate with contractors and construction workers to implement designs
- Oversee and manage architectural production staff
- Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
- Developing architecture in line with client's needs, building's usage and environmental impact
- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
- Follow architectural trends and advancements
- Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications
Architect Skills and Qualification :
- 2+ years- experience working in interior architectural design
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design or related field
- Working knowledge of VectorWorks
- Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
- Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
- Communication and project management skills
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Have presentation skills
- Be able to organise projects
- Have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problem solving
