Assembly Engineer - Production/Machine Assembly (6-10 yrs)
Location - Ankleshwar
Responsibility :
1. Machine Assembly
- Assemble machine components according to technical drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle electrical, mechanical, and electronic components with precision.
- Ensure the correct alignment, calibration, and fitting of parts.
2. Quality Assurance
- Inspect components for defects before and after assembly.
- Test the functionality of subassemblies and completed machines to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document and resolve any discrepancies in quality or performance.
3. Compliance with Standards
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards specific to pharmaceutical machinery.
- Ensure machines comply with hygiene and safety requirements for pharmaceutical production.
4. Coordination with Other Departments
- Collaborate with the design, engineering, and procurement teams to address technical issues or material shortages.
- Work closely with the quality control department to meet validation requirements.
5. Maintenance of Tools and Equipment
- Maintain and calibrate tools, jigs, and assembly equipment regularly.
- Ensure that the assembly area is clean, organized, and safe for operation.
6. Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues during assembly.
- Provide feedback to the design and R&D teams for improvements.
7. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate assembly records, including logs of any modifications, tests, and inspections performed.
- Report production metrics, delays, or issues to supervisors.
8. Training and Supervision
- Train and guide junior assembly workers or apprentices.
- Supervise specific assembly processes to ensure consistency and quality.
9. Safety Protocols
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing PPE, adhering to ergonomic practices, and handling chemicals or delicate - components responsibly.
- Report hazards or incidents promptly.
10. Continuous Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Suggest improvements based on assembly experience.
