Job Description:

Position Title : Asst. Engineer-Electrical Maintenance

Role Type : Individual Contributor

Reporting to : DGM

Location : PTB Mysuru

Purpose of the role:

- This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing all facilities and manufacturing equipment (CNC machines) including Utilities like Compressors, Diesel generators, EOT cranes and Air conditioning units.

- This position creates value for the facility by performing preventative and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, troubleshoot and repair electrical / Electronic problems on plant facilities and production equipment such as CNC/PLC and conventional machines, able to read electrical circuit and basic knowledge on Pneumatic and hydraulic circuit is added advantage. Hands on experience on Utility machines like EOT cranes, Compressors and Diesel Generators.

- Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and documents maintenance concerns/resolutions, providing action plans and status reports as needed.

- Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to Maintenance Manager.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both written and verbal; includes building relationships with team lead and department Manager.- Knowledge on SAP, kaizen, 5S and EMS and Health & safety is required.Personality traits / Competencies:

- Strong written and spoken English and presentation skills.- Strong work ethic, high energy level, motivation, and enthusiasm.- Competent with MS-Office.- SAP operation acquaintance is must.Job Specifications/Profile:

- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics.

- Previous experience of minimum 3-5 Years in Industrial maintenance
