- Manage & Supervise EXIM Team & Carry out Knowledge integration.

- Optimization of Export Incentives under Foreign Trade Policy for all company entities.

- Representation of important matters affecting the group to the office of the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) & other concerned Authorities.

- Adopt cost saving measures by imbibing proactive approach within all the subordinates for procurement of import licences well in time before arrival of the consignments across locations of company entities.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) :

- Representation of important matters affecting the group to the office of the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) & other concerned Authorities.

- Relationship buildingwith internalteams &concerned offices of DGFTIEEPCI FIEO.

- Manage & Supervise EXIM Team & Carry out Knowledge integration.

- Optimization of Export Incentives under Foreign Trade Policy for all company entities.

- Redemption and closure of EPCG and Advance Authorizations.

Critical Tasks

- Ensure all Exim benefits on time such as MEIS, EPCG licenses, Advance Licenses and DFIA.

- Ensure procurement of EPCG licenses well in time, before arrival of the consignment, to avoid demurrage and detention cost.

- Arranging to reply all the deficiency letters issued by DGFT and Customs with respect to various Exim benefits.

- Ensure appropriate measures for obtaining required documents from various departments.

- Attend all personal hearings and show cause notices issued to our companies and its Directors.

- Update knowledge by attending various seminars and workshops to maximize benefits to our company and its subsidiaries.

- Effectively coordinate with all the manufacturing units of our company and its subsidiaries.

- Attending to various issues and provide suitable advice and solutions with respect to Exim operations of our company and all the subsidiaries within the group.

- Arranging for sale and purchases of various import licenses at competitive market rates.

- Responsible for strict compliance with respect to various Legal Undertakings, Indemnities and Guarantees given to various government authorities by our Directors.

- Coordination inarranging certificates from Central Excise authorities.

- Coordination in arranging certificates from various Banks.

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)

- Representing litigation matters with various government authorities such as Director General Foreign Trade, Delhi and various Customs departments.

- Representing our company towards foreign dignitaries such as Department of Commerce of USA and various other Anti dumping authorities relating to other countries.

- Representing our company with respect to availing benefits by relaxation of the guidelines under the existing Foreign Trade Policy and procedures.

- Represent our company at various forum of Export Promotion Councils.

- Represent our company at Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Revenue.

- Represent our company at Ministry of Steel for various benefits under the Trade policies.

- Arranging for sale and purchases of various import licenses at competitive market rates.

- To monitor and follow up old cases of SHIS and lEIS for issuance from Addi.DGFT Mumbai.

- Digitization of Exim data.

Educational Background and Work Experience

- Having a Sound Academic background with Knowledge of Import & Export Management with an experience of above 25 years in exports and imports.

- Possess knowledge on Foreign Trade Policy and Procedures.

- Well versed in exports and imports procedures.

- Should be aware of excise and customs formalities.

- Should possess acumen in liasoning with government officials working in Customs and DGFT offices
