Assistant Head - Coke Oven Operations - Quality Management (12-15 yrs)
1. Planning & Co ordination of Coke Oven Operation :
i) To plan the stock of the coal
ii) To plan the blending of coal and send to laboratory for analysis for using the materials in the production.
2. Ensue Quality Management in all Operating Areas :
i) To ensure the ratio of the different varieties of the coal in the blend mix
ii) To ensure the right moisture in the blended coal to achieved 8.5 to 9.5% moisture in coal cake.
iii) To ensure the ash quality of the coke to 12.5 to 13.25%.
3. Monitoring and Controlling the Operation :
i) To monitor and control the moisture ( 8 -10%) content of the blended coal after blending in order to get good shaped coal cake for charging in the oven.
4. Co-coordinating the plant, Vendors and other third Parties :
i) To coordinate with the vendors for dispatch
ii) To coordinate with supplier for raw materials.
