SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

- Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering with 6 - 8 years of experience in a reputed design consultancy firm or engineering division of reputed EPC firm; Must have experience in design and detailed engineering of C&I system for plants like CHP, Iron ore crushing & washing plant, beneficiation plants, other material handling system;

- Must have experience in reviewing of vendor drawings like P&ID, system architecture, DCS, PLC, SCADA, UPS, PA system, Telephone system, CCTV system, various measuring instruments, safety switches, Instrumentation cables, control desk, control valves etc

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

JOB DESCRIPTION : Assistant Manager-Control & Instrumentation is responsible for preparation and review of Instrument Specifications, technical Bid Evaluation and review of Vendor Documents of P&ID, system architecture, DCS, PLC, SCADA, UPS, PA system, Telephone system, CCTV system, various measuring instruments, safety switches, Instrumentation cables, control desk, control valves etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Complete engineering of various projects which shall be executed in house.

- Preparation and Review of Datasheets, Specifications, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluation, and Review of Vendor Documents of field Instrument's like Control Valves, ON OFF valves, Safety relief valves, Various Transmitters, P&ID, system architecture, DCS, PLC, SCADA, UPS, PA system, CCTV system, measuring instruments, safety switches, Instrumentation cables, control desk etc..

- Preparation and Review of Instrument Specifications, Technical Bid Evaluation and Review of Vendor Documents for Local Control Panels, Junction Boxes, Cables, Cable Glands, Hook ups accessories, Cable Trays.

- Review of Engineering Deliverables as part of the Project includes Instrument Index, IO list, JB Schedule, Cable schedule, JB Drawings, Process Hookups, Pneumatic Hookups, Loop Diagrams, Instrument Location Layouts, Instrument Cable Routing Layouts.

- Preparation of tender specification for procurement of various C&I equipment. Enquiry floating, Techno-commercial offer review and coordinate with procurement department for procurement of equipment.

- Study of various mining Government/Private tenders and prepare CAPEX estimations for the CHP/ Central processing Units/Beneficiation plants.

- Coordinate with internal and external customers during various stages of project starting from proposal making, project award, engineering, procurement, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and closeout stages.

- Hands on experience in attending FATs/SATs will have added advantage.

- Must be part of the complete life cycle of the Instrumentation discipline for Green field or brown field project from start to end.
