- Assessment of warehouse space requirement for the region to ensure adequate storage space for the finished goods inventories to meet the budget volumes
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate and develop new CFA addition as per business requirement
- Distribution/ route planning to ensure order servicing on timely basis to key account as well as general trade.
- Implement & improve process like replenishment based secondary dispatches to achieve efficiency in distribution operation- Highlight critical stock availability at DC to central team
- Monitor, control and improve the Cases Fill Rate by timely coordination with plant, planning and C&FA and ensuring optimal finished goods availability.
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities by developing new vendors, alternate & cost effective modes of transportation, optimizing warehouse space.
- Negotiating with CFAs and transport service providers for secondary freight and limit the distribution cost within the budget.
- Planning warehouse space requirement for the region to ensure optimal space availability to meet the budget volumes.
- Strategizing secondary transportation within the region to ensure high service levels while meeting the budget for secondary freight.
- Managing complexities of FIFO arising due to promotions, new product launches while maintaining optimum level of inventory
- Suggest creation/elimination of C&FAs based on the order servicing requirements and in setting up a new C&FA and in negotiating and finalizing contract wit
- Need candidates with Logistics/ distribution/ supply chain
