Position : Assistant Manager - Demand & Production Planning - Auto Paint
We have an urgent opening with our client which is leading paint company in India.
Our Client is the largest industrial paint and second largest decorative paint company of India based in Mumbai. It is engaged in the industrial, automotive and powder coating business. It develops and supplies paint systems used on the finishing lines of electrical components, cycle, material handling equipment, bus bodies, containers and furniture industries.
Position Location: Mumbai
Position Reporting to: Manager Supply Chain
Job Purpose :
- To reduce the gap between demand and supply and thereby maintaining the optimum service level
- Maintain right stock level at all nodes and hence improve OTIF and reduce stock-outs
- Provide production plan to all the local factories and review on delivery
Experience : - 2-6 Years of experience in Supply Chain function
Qualification : Engineer & MBA
Responsibilities:
- To forecast as per market demand and sales trend for rolling period of four months
- Maintain NOD & SS and hence improve on distribution of FG, service level & OTIF
- Review forecast as per the sales trend and do necessary changes to cater the demand take production plan for 2 blocks and review on delivery performance
- Coordinate with purchase, technical and sales for new projects/ rush orders/APQP
- Review capacity and demand gaps and coordinate with manufacturing to fill the gaps
- Maintain system hygiene in APO and R3
- Review dashboards to identify exceptions and hence take timely action
- Review with purchase on RMS to ensure smooth supplies from factories
- Undertake new improvement projects on need basis
- Daily rigorous coordination with factory & sales team to review on criticalities
- Review on SMNM inventory and ensure liquidation plan along with Technical & Sales
