Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Design (6-12 yrs)
Job Description :
- On-site deign / cad support to customer regarding Air Products, Air Intake System, Liquid product through NX (NX11 is preferred).
- Recommend, apply or adapt current or emerging technologies to meet market needs.
- Prepare and present technical presentations in a clear and concise manner to meet company and customer needs.
- Organize cross-functional reviews of product designs and drawings to ensure design for manufacture, quality and reliability.
- Formulate the design verification plans & made agreement with customers as per SOR/ technical specifications
- Ensure understanding and mitigation of risks to project timing, product cost, quality and reliability
- Communicate directly with customers to align timing plans, time and risk information, and escalate critical issues.
- Lead weekly reviews of open projects with the Customer Team, and define actions were required to meet project goals & timely escalating issues through joint Review.
- Anticipate potential problems, plan appropriate resolutions, and take early corrective action before problems happen; authority to engage entire organization to address issues and restore program integrity should visible
- Develop resource, timing and budget requirements for the project.
- Support & implementing Donaldson business process - APD & CQP.
- Drive engineering, commercial and manufacturing activities through launch, with special focus on critical tasks
- Support product release process with technical data sheet & fitment signoff with customers.
- Record lesson learns & horizontal deploy the learnings for new products & existing product improvements (Engineering changes) to prevent potential failures
Technical Competence & Skills :
- Knowledge of injection, blow, rotational molding & rubber molding process
- Knowledge of sheet metal pressing & fabrication process
