Position : Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager
Role : Engine Design
Location : Pithampur - Indore
Academic Qualifications : B.E in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma
Experience : 3- 5 years of Experience ( BE/B Tech), 4-10 yrs ( Diploma)
Reporting to : Senior Manager
- Technically proficient in matters of Engine Design for Diesel Engines.
- Work on New Development of Engines keeping in view Fuel Efficiency, costs and Emission norms.
- Resolving current design related issues with regard to Engines by enforcing a systematic and thorough Design Process.
- Be accountable for proper utilization of design, simulation and analysis software to develop solutions.
- Proactive participation in helping superiors in annual budgeting and controlling the project expenses as per the budget plan.
- Ensuring updated Design standards. Release of Engineering Orders and other such activities.
- Inculcating excellence in all the activities of the department.
Desired Competency :
- Excellent skills of Design tools like DFS, DFMEA, DFA, QFD etc
- Excellent clarity on Engine Fundamentals.
- Excellent knowledge on Design and Analysis software eg : AVL Excite, Boost, Fire etc.
- Excellent knowledge on Different Automotive Engines in the industry, their limitations, strengths and relevant information.
- Very good knowledge on manufacturing process.
- Good knowledge of Vendor base and skills on negotiations.
- Excellent analytical skills and systematic problem solving skills
