Objective: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in the development and implementation of solar pump systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical & electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy solutions. This role involves designing, testing, and optimizing solar-powered water pumping systems for various applications, including agriculture, rural water supply, and industrial usage with piping systems.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop efficient solar pump systems, including the selection of solar panels, pumps, controllers, and other components.

- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

- Conduct simulations and performance evaluations to optimize system efficiency and reliability.

- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and sales personnel, to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and materials.

- Provide technical support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar pump systems.

- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and field technicians.

- Conduct on-site inspections and performance assessments to ensure system functionality and customer satisfaction.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar energy technology and water pumping solutions.

- Conduct research to identify new technologies and methods to improve system performance and reduce costs.

- Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training programs.

- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards.

- Prepare and review safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering OR/ Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

- Proven experience in designing and developing solar pump systems or similar renewable energy projects.

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.

- Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with off-grid and hybrid solar systems.

- Knowledge of water resource management and irrigation systems.

- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to solar energy and water pumping.
