Job Purpose :

- Develop Electrical systems Operations and Preventive maintenance SOP- s, & Ensure compliance of all as per approved SOP's. Maintain & update Log books & RST's.

- Operational Maintenance activities of Electrical Switch Gear equipment and spares for operation and maintenance activities.

- Develop PM Plan for all Electrical Systems and ensure execution as per approved plan in timely manner. Maintain records as per GMP guidelines & SOPs.

- Provide immediate resolutions and ensure breakdowns are attended in timely manner and maintain records. Improve equipment uptime.

- Initiate events as per SOP and ensure/support timely Closure of Investigations, Change controls, and CAPA's in Phenix/QMS.

- Keeping track of industry best practices like MTTR / MTBF / OEE & follow as applicable.

- Coordinate with the functional leads & cross function team of other departments to close challenges more effectively.

- Compliance for electrical drawings and load forecasting and modification require for electrical equipment.

- Any other jobs assigned from time to time.

- Participate in Lean & IP activities very proactively.

- Ensure Audit preparedness.

- Work closely with all OEM vendors to resolve issues proactively & in timely manner.

- Maintain sufficient/adequate spares and consumables for consistent & continuous operation of all responsible areas & coordinate with all stakeholders.

- Shall support small improvement projects, commissioning & qualification activities as per site needs.

- Monthly energy report (Generation and Submission) along with consumption variations with respect to plan/budget and take measures to control in timely manner.

- Identify potential areas of energy conservation & ensure appropriate measures are taken in timely manner to effect savings.

HSE (Safety) :

- Collaborate with site & Global HSE and ensure all safety and environmental guidelines are adhered.

- Support to maintain site specific safety goals, PASS and expectations.

- Support global audits

People Management :

- Manage a team of contractors, provide an efficient and people oriented support to develop the teams. Support and build a responsive work culture among the team members.

- Maintain effective and efficient relations across departments for effective functioning of responsible areas.

- Review periodically & ensure timely resources as per site demands during visits, inspections and audits etc.

- Provide training to develop outsourced team & support updating their knowledge and skill as per GMP requirements.

- Co-ordinate/ Collaborate with vaccines utility team for smooth, effective and efficient ways of working with no disputes and conflicts.

Energy and Water Conservation :

- Contribute & active participation in achieving site specific energy & water conservation objectives /goals.

- Monitoring of Utilities consumption, review of operational parameters and preparation of energy conservation reports on periodic basis as per the requirement.

- Implementation of energy & water conservation measures where ever possible.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language :

Knowledge :

- Should be well versed with facility cGMP and GEP requirements along with domestic and international regulatory requirements

- Detailed knowledge of Electrical and ELV System operation and maintenance of sterile pharmaceutical facility with regard to maintain quality, manufacturing operations in GMP environment

Skills :

- Proven ability to Lead and manage for the execution of Jobs in coordination with the stakeholders, to fulfill the Projects, Qualification, Operation & Maintenance requirements.

- Budget preparation & Cost Estimates

Qualifications :

- Graduate In Electrical Engineering

- Minimum 6 Years of Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry(Preferably Sterile Injec)

Requirements of the job :

- Requires the incumbent to be available on call 24X7

- Requires GMP knowledge and experience for the preparation and execution of documents required for the Qualification, O&M activities and QMS.

- Required knowledge on the Energy Management systems, and the track the usage of utilities.
