Assistant Manager - Indirect Procurement (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Job Responsibilities :

- This individual will strategically source indirect procurement spend categories for the organization and be responsible for key continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of procurement process, systems and policy. The successful candidate will reside in the organization

- The incumbent would be responsible for indirect procurement for organization such as OEM supplied and other trading materials. These include but not limited to marketing, HR, Admin, Sales, IT etc.

- Develop comprehensive indirect procurement spend category strategies and drive alignment of these strategies across the organization. Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and work with them to prioritize opportunities and challenges.

- For assigned spend categories, oversee supplier relationships and related negotiations, business reviews and supplier assessments and selections, with the goal of obtaining optimized quality, cost, delivery and innovation for organization.

- Monitoring suppliers progress, checking the quality of service or goods provided, processing suppliers payments and invoices, routine reconciliation of vendor accounts, ensure optimization of organization procurement systems and compliance with the organization Procurement Policy Manual.

- Develop and implement metrics reporting for in scope responsibilities and related continuous improvement initiatives, constantly seek out improvement of purchasing processes and practices that eliminate non-value-added activity and incorporate relevant best practices. The role will involve strategic thinking, innovation, negotiation skills.

Salary: INR 5,00,000 - 7,00,000 P.A.

- Excellent communicator, skilled at aligning stakeholders around strategy and execution. skilled at continuous improvement in strategic sourcing, procurement process, policy and systems strategy Accomplished negotiator and able to construct and manage complex, sophisticated arrangements Initiator who takes ownership of the activities, ensure successful completion of the same.

- Experience into Procurement, Indirect Purchase, experience into Marketing, Sales, IT categories will be desirable. Must be assertive, persuasive, analytical, and an excellent communicator with solid organization and prioritization skills. SAP/SRM experience is desirable. Must be highly computer literate with strong MS Excel skills
