Assistant Manager/Manager - Control System Design (3-10 yrs)
FMCG company looking for above position for chennai plant :
- Ability to understand the Control Systems of the machine and lead the development activities to be done by Vendor in a cost effective and time bound manner.
- Ability to interact with internal stakeholders like machine designers/engineers, plant users and convert the same into control system designs.
- Ability to do trouble shooting and resolve production issues for machines at customer locations.
- BTech / M Tech in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering (or similar related degree).
- 3-7 yrs of relevant development experience
- Design and develop electrical and control systems for the machine
- Conduct testing, maintenance and modification of existing systems
- Collaborate with design engineers, Vendor and other staff members involved in the production processes
- Manage projects within the given restraints of cost and time
- Troubleshoot and resolve machines issues
- Ensure that the instruments comply with health and safety regulations
- Ensure that quality standards are maintained
- Create accurate Bill of Materials / Define equipment and parts from external suppliers
- Support manufacture, build and validation of systems which include pneumatics, servos, vfd- s, relays, communication networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons and robotic integration.
- Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings
- Proficient with MS Office, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, Indusoft, AutoCAD, Solidworks.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, Panel view HMI screens, SCADA Application programming preferred.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communications systems
