- Develop Standard Operating Procedure for Logistics including vendor identification, vendor selection, bid Analysis and executing and renewal of contracts on timely basis.

- Monitor cost sheet for individual vendor and logistics costs to ensure association from right source of services at right time and at right price

- Hands-on with import & export of capital equipment, regulated goods by FDA & CDSCO, clinical trial instruments, sterile medical devices.

- Leads negotiation with all kind of suppliers and vendors and finalize contracts

- Adept knowledge of marine insurance policies and its timely settlement on risk exposure

- Ensure effective controls with respect to-Purchase Order, Invoice processing, Stock in transit

- Develop standard rate charts to remain competitive, ensure timely supplies in market, issue & arranging road permits and resolve delivery/ quality issues of vendors/customers

- Ensuring training to all subordinates on logistics module

- Ensuring team SLA achievements

- High sense of urgency to meet logistics expectation and strong knowledge of costing.

- Strong experience in vendor identification/ development/, cost evaluation and cost finalization

- Should have exposure of Supplier Quality system, Audits, New supplier Assessment and rating.

- Processing freight bills and claims Procurement of transportation services

- Working knowledge and experience of QM system requirements (ISO13485 & ISO 9001) and working exposure for APQP / PPAP requirements & QM system adherence

- Monthly & Quarterly resource planning, cost reduction, vendor development & review, creditor Management, new technology and statutory requirements

- Transportation Management Air courier/parcel, airport to airport services, surface logistics, imports by ocean and air at different ports

- Custom clearance at different ports with customer specific requirements.

- Accountable for meeting weekly/ monthly dispatch plan. Ensure that the target dispatch volumes are achieved. Handling inbound & outbound logistics as per orders and deliveries

- Maintain Inventory Health and Hygiene at all warehouse locations.

- Tracking all dispatch movements from the Warehouse to customers & RDC locations across the country

- Train shipping department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.

- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues

- Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios

- Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes

- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping

- Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services

- Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities
