Assistant Manager/Manager - Project Management (8-15 yrs)
Job Title - Asst. Manager/ Manager - Project Management
Function - Operations
Reports to : Vice President
Span of control [direct reports only] - NIL
Education - B.E. Mechanical. Master's degree in Statistics would be preferred
Experience - 8-10 years
Key Responsibilities :
Job Objective :
- The Project Manager manages all client projects and responsibilities include coordination, completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
- Oversees all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of projects.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage relationship with the client, third parties/vendors and all stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
- Evaluate and assess result of projects
Knowledge and skill set :
- Proven working experience in project management
- Interpersonal skills
- Analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Proficient using computer software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
- Conflict resolution experience
- Adaptability
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
