Assistant Manager - Procurement - FMCG (3-6 yrs)
Assistant Manager - Procurement - Capex & Opex
Responsible for Procurement of Capital Goods, Spare Parts, & all factory Opex items
- Responsibilities includes getting quotations from approved vendors, evaluation and placing orders & follow up for deliveries
- Handle material outages for the Project & Engineering group, Quality & Production team with high sense of urgency.
- Exploring opportunities to enter in to long term supply contracts and executing the same to secure the value chain at competitive rates.
- Execution of collaborative projects with vendors for improvement. This includes development of
Backward/Forward integration; Formula linked contracts; Basket purchase etc to achieve substantial cost savings.
- Identification and Development of new vendors on need base to ensure business sustainability
- Leveraging relationship with vendors by strengthening Supplier Relationship Management
- To follow & implement Company's Capex policy and process in India .
- Develop network with Global buyers, connect with external experts and other industries
- Develop appropriate contractual terms and conditions. Execute and manage supplier contracts/purchase order to ensure compliance as well as maintenance of any certification
Experience Needed (Professional)
- 3 to 6 years of experience handling Capital Purchase in reputed Food/ FMCG Company
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel & Power Point
- Sound knowledge in SAP required
- Strong Vendor Management skills
