Assistant Manager - Production - Heavy Construction Equipment (7-14 yrs)
Urgently looking for "Assistant Manager - Production" for one of the reputed company deals in Heavy Construction Equipment Industry. Please go through with the following details;
Position - Assistant Manager (Production)
Reporting to - Manager Production
Location - Sricity (Andhra Pradesh)
Experience - 8+ Years
Qualification - Graduate BE, B. Tech, or Diploma with Higher experience
Key Responsibilities;
- To ensure that the Shops/sections operates as per the rated capacity and achieves the target as per the business plan.
- To strive for productivity & quality by benchmarking the process of manufacturing.
- To PLAN and ensure ONTIME availability of Raw materials, components, spares and consumables etc. as per the requirement.
- To establish effective systems of manufacturing processes by adopting quality tools & principles in line with TQM/Lean manufacturing practices.
- To extend support & services to the Human Resource department in the talent acquisition & training of the new recruits.
- To strengthen the networking system of MIS by means of concrete data recording & reporting.Ensuring uninterrupted communication system for the achievement of various tasks & perodic updation at the top management.
- To establish the sound quality mgmt systems and inbuilt QAP to continually enhance product & process quality level.
- To implement the system of documentation & maintenance of records pertaining to Production, QC, Despatches at shop floor and have on line quality checking in each stage of production.
- Ensuring that the proper work allocation to all the technical team members are being provided towards the achievement of targets with role clarity.
- To ensure that the production unit works on ERP/SAP systems by making the procedures/practices in techno savvy manner.
- Maintain targets on safety, uptime, MTTR, MTBF, capability and cost.
- Leading root cause analysis, Kaizen activities for productivity, ergonomic improvement.
- Spare parts planning and procurement
