Assistant Manager - Production - Paper Industry (9-16 yrs)

Position : Asst Manager Production (Paper)

Qualification : B.E/B.Tech - (Chemical, Paper, Mechanical) or B.Sc.(Paper and Pulp )

Good command of English and Tamil

1. Manage Operations from raw material management through to final product

2. Take lead and manage process improvements within plant

3. Manage production, quality control as per agreed quality requirements and product grades

4. Ensure weekly production planning meets delivery and customer requirements

5. To exploit plant assets to minimum of 90% plant availability and manage plant predictive, preventive, breakdown maintenance work and optimum utilization of manpower resources and skill development.

6. Manage spare parts procurement and safe storage system in coordination with SCM

7. Lead implementation of SHEQ and housekeeping in plant

8. Report monthly stock take and reporting is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.

9. Support project as initiated in region as per advice of HOO

10. Manage with open communication and ensure timely and accurate reporting

11. Stabilization of plant maintenance processes, including monitoring processes

12. Spare part planning to ensure critical spare availability in consultation with SCM.

13. To establish and implement predictive and preventive maintenance schedules.

14. POM/PM/Critical spares on timely basis

15. No unexpected breakdowns & no non-conforming product production

16. No Loss time accident across in Plant

17. Exploit automation and make sure plant runs on auto mode throughout

18. Develop minimum maintenance and quality inspection skills (preliminary level for minor maintenance level) to operators

19. CIT as per targets and reporting
