5) Overview General Procurement & SAP.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide a bulleted list of key responsibilities. (Budgets and Costs handled, People Handled, Specific tasks etc)

1. Plan & execute material availability as per production plan to ensure 100% delivery as per SOP.

2. Material Planning, Procurement, PO release with SAP MM module function report, vendor portal and commercials terms.

3. Do capacity - Gap analysis and develop required capacities with supply base to meet manufacturing plan.

4. Parts costing and proactive to create ideas for cost reduction & material innovation.

5. Cross-functional engagement with process & quality to meet QCD with Supplier.

6. Co-ordinate new product /component development as per schedule to ensure the NEW model execution.

7. Mapping all the parts as per MRP recd and planning the delivery JIT & Inventory Control.

8. Negotiation of prices for RM & Parts to ensure competitiveness.

9. Follow up with vendors for product dispatches and supplies in line with requirements.

10. Communicate internal team with some suggestions for improvements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED :

1. Experience in Purchase, Procurement, Spend Analysis, Contract Management, Logistics Planning, Vendor Management, Analytical Analysis and Reporting, Material Planning, Inventory Control.

2. Should be able to handle Procurement of all Electromechanical item of Fan parts e.g. Aluminium Die cast, Cu wire, plastic molding, sheet metal press & machining parts, paint chemical & powder coating.

3. Procurement in accordance with the needs of the internal Customers, establish Contracts and manage supplier relationship, Vendor Development, Costing & Rate Settlement, Inventory Control.

4. Good Negotiation skills through product substitution, alternate vendor development, Indigenous solution development and Establishment of Annual Rate Contracts and Maintenance Contracts [Annual comprehensive/Non - Comprehensive].

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Expertise in SAP MM Module for Procurement and Material function.

- Material sourcing & costing

- Knowledge of Technical & Commercial.

- Good communication skills and a team player.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical) with 6~7 years of Techno commercial experience in Procurement/ Materials.
