Assistant Manager - Purchase - FMCG (5-10 yrs)
We are Seeking to identify AM Purchase for our multinational client in FMCG
Looking for incumbent who has a minimum experience of 5 yrs in raw material and packaging material in FMCG comp.
Location - Pune
Role
Core Expertise :
- Delivering Y-O-Y Savings on procurement : All Categories
- New endor Development & Negotiations
- Category Expertise : Paper & Board - Strategic Buying
- Total Cost Of Ownership : Understand End to End supply chain with Value chain for Paper & Board Category
- Conducting annual RFI / E Auction for Paper & Board Category
- Understanding Market Risks upstream and downstream and coming up with Business continuity plan
Key Deliverables :
- Raising the Comparatives, Schedule agreement, Purchase order & sub-contract for all the category
- Annually conducting the budgeting exercise and standardizing it in the SAP system
- Identifying new suppliers and gathering the RFQ from them
- Analyzing and reporting variances of Actual Vs Budget cost on monthly basis
- MIS on suppliers Spends and Feedstock spends
Collaboration :
- Coordination with local controlling dept : For getting feedback on standard cost Vs Variance
- Timely payment to the supplier and resolving payment issues with the support from F&A
- Supporting the suppliers while resolving the issues arising out of SC operations
- Packaging Development for new developments (technology) and risk projects
Supplier Development & Servicing :
- Suppliers issue resolution : Monthly visits and reviewing all the open points
- Supporting Marketing and Supply chain with timely connectivity of material for new launches
