Assistant Manager/Senior Executive - Strategic Sourcing - Raw Material Procurement - Chemicals (5-10 yrs)
SRF Ltd requires Assistant Manager /Senior Executive Strategic Sourcing-Raw Material Procurement (Chemicals) for their Manufacturing plant located in Dahej in Bharuch Gujrat.
Job responsibilities :
- Develops long term relationships with domestic and International suppliers and ensures availability of raw materials and packaging to be sourced from domestic and International markets at competitive rates.
- Maintains relationships at various levels in the supplier organization so as to gather market intelligence.
- Coordinates with external agencies related to Sourcing
- Interacts closely with the plant for scheduling movement of raw materials and packaging from the vendor's end.
- Maintains touch with key suppliers and service providers.
- Develops understanding of global demand and supply dynamics for the products being purchased.
- Identifies and develops alternatives for each sourced items.
- Negotiates prices keeping in mind the market scenario, company budget, strategic needs of the business and customers.
- Facilitate vendor evaluation wherever applicable.
- Reviews speedy resolution of complaints in supplies.
- Assists vendors in establishing systems and processes for getting the desired level of service.
- Develops new suppliers or meeting SRF's stringent specification of raw materials as per SOPs.
- Negotiates the pricing terms.
- Ensure that payments against sales are realized in time.
- Develops customers/dealers for sale of left over quantities
- Files application for UN Certification thru vendors.
- Arrange fee for certification and NPI
- Inspection at the suppliers- plant.
