As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join our team and help us enhance our operations.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our bus services from our headquarters in Bangalore. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage schedules, coordinate with drivers, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordination:

- Assist in planning and managing bus schedules to ensure timely departures and arrivals.

- Coordinate with drivers and maintenance staff to ensure all buses are operational and well-maintained.

- Monitor and adjust schedules based on demand and unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, weather).

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure all buses comply with safety regulations and standards.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of buses and facilities.

- Implement and enforce safety protocols for both drivers and passengers.

Customer Service:

- Address passenger inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.

- Work towards improving the overall passenger experience.

Operational Efficiency:

- Assist in optimizing routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor operational expenses and work on cost-saving initiatives.

Reporting & Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of schedules, maintenance, incidents, and other operational activities.

- Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software tools.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
