Assistant Sourcing Manager

Job Description :

As a Asst Sourcing Manager you'll work with Sourcing Head to ensure that the sourcing activity is delivered effectively and contracts are reviewed and negotiated. You'll utilize the Business Sourcing Process, whilst guaranteeing maximum value and innovation. It'll be your responsibility to ensure the contracts remain in force, and are effective and kept up to date with market trends, price, customer service competitiveness and regulatory change. The manufacturing process is monitored from inception through to completion, and the Asst Sourcing Manager will analyze the process to determine whether to use the supplier again or seek out higher quality or more cost-effective providers. The job entails confirming the terms of all contracts, licenses, insurance and liability agreements for each source being used.

Responsibilities :

- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best cost and service for the business

- Support and work with Group Head of Sourcing to source new suppliers and rationalize spend

- Involve in the analysis of retail market, competitors to develop strategic sourcing strategy and business goal for the company

- Sourcing the highest quality raw materials for the factory to produce the ranges

- Reviewing the materials previously used and identifying areas for improvement in quality and design

- Researching the materials required and sourcing the best suppliers to deliver

- Negotiating cost and terms

- Analyzing product data to forecast volume of materials required

- Management of budgets

- Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships

- Visiting the oversees factory on a monthly basis whilst maintaining clear lines of communication

- Need to Insure the Bulk deliveries on time.

Skills :

- Basic technical understanding of IT and the relevant sub-categories

- Experience in leading product innovation

- Strong experience in supplier development

- Have a minimum of 5+ years Buying and Sourcing experience

- Able to work under pressure and priorities

- Outgoing and confident
