Position Title : Associate Manager - Production

Job Summary :
Implement well defined Bakery Production process, orient the production team to work together in achieving laid down targets with highest efficiency in production process and cost management. Motivation and development of team.
Production of Frozen Bakery products viz Croissants, Puff Pastries, Lava cakes, Mud cakes, Soft Buns, Frozen Cookies, Frozen Paratha with high efficiency metrics in alignment to he Business plans.
Description :
- Prepare production plan in terms of SKU wise, Shift wise volumes.
- Ensure adherence to process quality parameters and end product quality.
- Ensure productivity of resources in respect of machines, material and men including capacity utilization.
- Responsible for budgeted efficiencies and cost reduction targets in terms of consumables, standard process cycle times, cost of labor and wastages.
- Coordinate with the Planning Team to dynamically respond to day to day changes to production orders while optimizing the overall cost of production.
- Minimize break downs of plant & machinery and downtimes and shutdowns in coordination with the Maintenance Department.
- Ensure optimum manning strategies, multi-skilling and high degree of workmen motivation
- Support the Produciton Manager
- Periodically review performance of Production Executives and Operators with the objective of improving performance
- Train and develop Production Executives and Operators for improved performance in collaboration with Unit HR.
- Ensure that the plant area adheres to GMP, Safety and Hygiene standards including safety drills and appropriate treatment, management and disposal of effluent.
- Implementation of world class systems including ERP.
- Accountable for development of direct sub-ordinates and the employees down the reporting line.
Education Required :
Bachelors in Engineering / B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology
Experience required : 7 - 12 years
