Job Description:

We are looking for a Production Associate - API to join our manufacturing team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a key part in the production and formulation processes of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and adhering to manufacturing protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically in API production, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

API Production : Assist in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) by following detailed production protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Process Monitoring : Monitor and control production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operation, including overseeing equipment functionality, raw material handling, and production workflows.

Quality Control : Ensure all API products meet quality specifications and adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. Perform routine quality checks and document results.

Equipment Handling : Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure proper calibration and functioning of all equipment used in the production process.

Documentation : Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, equipment logs, and quality control data, to ensure regulatory compliance and traceability.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any hazards or incidents to supervisors.

Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve any production issues, working closely with team leaders and engineering teams to implement solutions.

Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize production processes and ensure timely delivery of products.

Inventory Management : Monitor raw material inventory levels and assist in the timely requisition of materials for production processes.

Training & Development: Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with industry practices, regulatory changes, and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 3-5 years of experience in API manufacturing or pharmaceutical production in a regulated environment.

Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of API production processes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements.

Technical Skills : Ability to operate and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, with a solid understanding of API production and related technologies.

Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy and quality in every aspect of the production process.

Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and suggest improvements.

Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment, particularly in pharmaceutical production.

Teamwork : Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the successful completion of production goals.

Education : A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Communication : Good communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and management.
