Associate Vice President - Purchase & Contracts - Real Estate (18-22 yrs)
QUALIFICATIONS:
BE / B Tech - Civil / Mech / Production / Construction / PGDMM
EXPERIENCE:
- 18+ Years of proven experience in Vendor Development / Purchase & Procurement functions with a large scale real estate developer. Should have expertise in procurement of Imported & Indian marble, Sanitary Bath Fittings, Steel, Cement, Building materials, Granite, Stones, Sand, Tiles, Paver Blocks, Glass, Aluminium, Electrical items etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sourcing & procurement of construction goods, materials and equipments for the real estate business.
- Vendor Assessment, Vendor Management, Vendor Selection.
- Calling for quotations / floating enquiries to vendors.
- Budgeting, Estimation, comparison of quotes, rate analysis and finalization of rates and cost for materials and services.
- Preparing procurement terms, conditions for technical and commercial.
- Reviewing Vendor performance and taking corrective actions to ensure timeliness and quality of supplies.
- Maintain alternative sources of supply in case of non-performance by existing Vendors.
- Ensuring timely processing of Bills
- Preparing purchase orders, BOQs, LOIs etc.
- Supervision of Billing and reconciliation of materials.
- Monthly MIS reporting.
KEY SKILLS :
- Strong commercial and technical acumen.
- High degree of communication and excellent negotiation skills.
- SAP Knowledge.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
