About the role :
Position : Specialist - Supply Chain/Purchase
- The candidate will support the lead to drive long-term operations transformation projects, strategy deployment, IT digitization and process excellence for SCM. Also, he or she will manage the export/import operations and assist the lead in procurement activities. The role will be based out of Mumbai.
Role Responsibilities/Requirements :
1. Creating the daily reports and dashboards and maintaining the data required for the daily operations of the team.
2. Coordinating with different stakeholders of the cross - functional teams and aligning them for the required outcome.
3. Assist the team lead as export - import coordinator for the following activities :
- Engaging with freight forwarders for end-to-end execution of export/import orders.
- Imports document review & coordinate with CHA for the clearance.
- Prepare documentation for export orders.
4. Engaging in the commercial activities with the vendors, managing the ordering of material/FG and the delivery of the same from the vendors.
5. Ensuring that the timelines are met in the execution of different projects. It might require following up with different stakeholders at regular intervals.
6. Good knowledge of MS Excel is a must and experience in using different visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is desirable. In case the candidate does know how to use Power BI or Tableau, he or she must be keen to learn these.
7. Previous experience in export and import operations is desirable.
