Objective :

- To ensure that the product or service provided by organization is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements.

- Steering and controlling of Quality control processes

- To have Structural approach in Coatings manufacturing on improving Quality, Delivery and Reducing cost, Utilizing various methods of Quality planning, Workplace design, Asset care, Waste elimination through involvement of all the Subordinates with an objective to meet expectation of all the Key stakeholders

- Responsibility for safety and adherence to environmental protection.

Main Tasks :

- Need to be adaptable in order to meet customer expectations and to ensure legal compliance

- Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures

- Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring that they are met

- working with purchasing and Technical Development to establish quality requirements from external suppliers

- Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety

- Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet Laid down standards

- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff

- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures

- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;

- Continuous improvement of Quality inspection processes by employing modern optimization methods. Constantly looks at testing procedures to optimize testing, by reducing unnecessary tests and increasing on critical products.

- Managing internal and external communication flows

- Lead and develop employees (according to the company`s guidelines, support of employees in personal development and qualification)

- Analysis of data and Initiate and implement strategies for innovation in Quality management system / Quality Control activities

- Ensure that Company directives and guidelines regarding health and safety and environment are fulfilled.

- To co-ordinate with Team for Various improvement projects

- Monitoring of the Quality management system & Promote Quality as an attitude. Ensure customer audits/ Certification Body Audits / Internal Audits related to Quality management System

- To provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.

- Customer complaint closure including concluding on the root cause and the implementation of the corrective actions.

- Ensures and maintains overall cleanliness of tools, equipment's and housekeeping in working areas. Ensures everyone wears Personal Protective Equipment's while working and develops a culture of safety in the lab.

- Expenses with in approved Budget

Requirements :

Education : Post Graduate in Science (Chemistry stream) / B. Tech Paint Technology / B. Tech Chemical Engineering.

Working Experience : 10+ years ( QA /QC and Paint mfg. Plant )

Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of Paint mfg; Test equipment handling, QC Tools, Colour matching, Quality Management system, advance tools like Six sigma, Lean Mfg, TQM.
