Role will include, but not limited to:

- Taking part in the project planning and scheduling

- Ensuring that the design is in accordance with the contract provisions & procedures

- Checking the progress of the activities, suggesting suitable actions to prevent, absorb or minimize any deviations in terms of time and cost

- Ensuring the controlled management of the documents within his area of responsibility,

- Giving assistance to the other project positions as far as specialist aspects are concerned (modifications and nonconformities, commissioning and startup)

- To ensure design packages meet the required safety, environmental and ergonomic standards

- Manage and control all interfaces of the related discipline with other disciplines

- Configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification

- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes

Job Description:

- Take part in risk assessments

- Provide process documentation and operating instructions

- Process Design & Engineering including reviewing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing & selection of equipment/instruments etc.

Preparation / review of specifications, datasheets

- Preparation / review of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, Operation manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.

WHO YOU ARE:

- Degree in Chemical Engineering

- 13 to 15 years of work experience in Process engineering

- The candidate shall have extensive experience in Conceptual design, Basic & Detailed Process engineering, commissioning for Chemical facilities

- Experience in all stages of design for Chemical projects

- Knowledge of the related International codes and Standards etc.

- Working knowledge of Process deliverables, i.e. PFDs, P&IDs, EPDS, IPDS, selection etc.

- PC skills, including specific design software

- Fluency in both written & spoken English

- Leadership abilities
