Bira 91 - Project Control Manager (5-8 yrs)
1. Determine Project Objectives: Working with the Investor and the engineering team, the Project Control Manager determines project objectives and contributes to the development of a comprehensive project plan. They outline project requirements and assign tasks to the team.
2. Cost Engineering: Project Control Mangers are responsible for the budgeting and cost management of the project. Interfacing with the Procurement, Engineering and Finance Departments, they develop and maintain a detailed cost control system. They regularly perform analytical reviews and checks of cost reporting documentation, and present cost status and forecast updates to the Project Management and Investor.
3. Establish Schedules: The Project Control Manger establishes a schedule for the project and monitors its progress. They routinely analyze, evaluate and forecast the current project status against the baseline schedule, assessing the impacts of design or construction changes to the schedule. They then report the status of schedule to appropriate project and Company management, as well to the investors.
4. Coordinate Projects: Project Control Managers coordinate all work on the project, ensuring that objectives are met with respect to scope, budget, schedule and quality. They conduct site visits to verify progress and identify any potential and critical issues. They then work with the teams to recommend recovery plans and update the schedule and budget accordingly. They ensure active engagement of team members by delegation of tasks to the appropriate person both on a long term and on a day-to-day basis.
5. Communication: S/he is an effective communicator with excellent relationship, management skills, strong analytical problem solving & organization abilities and expertise in handling the complete projects entailing, planning, resource utilization and manpower management.
6. Integration: Coordinates meetings and establishes all paper flow and document control with investors, contractors, regulatory agencies and others. Effectively communicates project status to project stakeholders. Follows established procedures to effectively administer project i.e. scope, schedule, cost, construction, estimating, communication, procurement, correspondence, document-control, etc. Follows established change management procedures to document and receive authorization for project change orders in a timely manner.
7. Construction: Supervises field construction activities through the site manager/construction coordinator to coordinate their activities to ensure project target adherence. Validates job completion of contractors (certificates of acceptances) and assists project handover. Assists project permitting engineer for construction and statutory permits.

- Basic knowledge of the Engineering approach to design, development, integration and product support for Brewery projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed schedules, ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain policies and procedures.
- Strong cost reporting skills and techniques.
- Experience in the identification, monitoring and reporting of project risks.
- Ability to develop and update schedules, create reports and provide analysis using Microsoft Project and/or other scheduling software's.
- Experience working with project management plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E).

Prerequisites: Candidate should be an engineering graduate from reputed college with at least 5 years of industrial experience with renowned beer manufacturing company. Should be able to manage multiple projects at a time. Travel (> 50%) is a must.
